Congregational Care

Congregational CareOur Prayer Chain members pray daily for those who need our supplications. Whenever someone enters the hospital, there is a death, or concerns are brought to our attention, the Prayer Chain members of our congregation fall to their knees. God hears our cries! The Prayer Chain messages are shared via phone and email.

The Deacons's Card Ministry has evolved from sending birthday cards to our members who are 80 years or older to now include 25-45 additional cards each month tfor older members who have had to move away to be closer to family, military family members, college students, homebound, and ill in the church and community.  The cards are hand made works of art created specifically for the season to share our congregation's joy, sympathy, support and warm thoughts with these special friends.

Pastoral and Deacon's visits are welcomed by our homebound members, and since we are Presbyterians, often the visits include a delivery of food following a fellowship dinner so we can extend the table fellowship into their homes.  Home communion is offered to the homebound by the pastor and a Deacon approximately once a month.
