The Mariners at First Presbyterian Church is a Christian social and service organization comprised of both single and married “mates”. The Mariners meet once a month, usually third Sundays, at 18 bells (6:00 PM) for a pot-luck meal in the “galley” and planned activities. In the past, these have included informative programs, a fall hay-rack ride and cookout, a February “Sweetheart Dinner”, “Hanging of the Seaweed” (preparing the church for Advent and Christmas) and other service related projects considered “cargo” for the spiritual journey with Christ at the helm of their ship!

Presby Quilters are folks who gather for fellowship over quilt tops to help stitch and raise funds for various church projects and ministries every Sunday afternoon at 2:00 and Tuesday morning at 9:00.

Fellowship Dinners are held approximately once a month following service.  The Presbyterians are great with food! Visitors are always welcome.

Coffee and Conversation takes place the second Sunday of the month at 10:00 in the parlor.
