There are many on-going and annual mission projects coordinated by our Mission and Outreach Committee. We also provide financial support for a number of off-site ministries.

Mission Coin Offering is collected every Sunday during worship.  These coins add up!  The Mission and Outreach Committee determines where these monies will go: locally, nationally, or internationally.

Food Pantry contributions are collected at all times for members of our community.  On the first Sunday of every month we collect a special food offering during worship.

Cherry Street Youth Center children are recipients of milk and/or snacks we provide one month each school year.  Special requests are made at holiday times.  We also host the Cherry Street Warehouse, an after-school program for middle school students during the school year.

A Hat and Mitten Tree gathers gifts of love for cold heads and hands at Christmas time – scarves have been specifically requested.

Special Offerings provide financial support for denominationally-sponsored mission work around the world.

Royster Middle School is of special interest to us. Located at the end of our block, we are intentional about providing school supplies, prayer, and other support as needed for students, faculty and staff.  At the end of the school year, a sixth grader, seventh grader and eighth grader are each recognized as outstanding peacemakers.

Boy Scout Troop 71 is sponsored by the church.  They are very active volunteering for the church as well as in the community.

Can Recycling is collected in the educational wing. This recycling project provides funds for special projects in the church.

The Ronald McDonald House is the recipient of our on-going collection of aluminum pull-tabs. This recycling project provides them with support funds.

Holiday gifts are sent to our military families and students at Christmas time. We serve as “Christmas Central” helping to distribute gifts of clothing, toys and groceries from community Santas to local families in need.
